About the Speaker
A material scientist by training with emphasis on mechanical properties of materials, Dr. Launey enjoys working with dynamic teams of engineers and scientists in the area of R&D and product development of innovative products. Dr. Launey has led teams in government research laboratories, large, mid-size and start-up companies. He is also  the author and co-author of more than 40 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and patents.
