Bio

Kelvin Chu is Director, IoMT and Platform Integration at Intuitive Surgical in Sunnyvale, CA. In his current role, he leads the integration of system network connectivity, digital, data and AI solutions across Intuitive’s surgical and simulation platforms, improving clinical outcomes and hospital asset utilization. Kelvin is also a key contributor to the recently launched da Vinci dV5 system, Intuitive’s newest generation of robotic technology.

Abstract

Kelvin will address the conference on “Robotics in Surgery and Rehabilitation,” sharing insights on how technological innovation is transforming surgical robotics and patient care.
Discuss advancements in robotic-assisted surgeries that enhance precision, minimize invasiveness, and reduce recovery times. Highlight innovations such as haptic feedback systems, AI-guided robotics, and teleoperated surgeries for remote areas.
