Abstract

Jian will share the evolution of Medtronic’s Reveal LINQ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM), highlighting its impact on syncope detection and atrial fibrillation (AF) diagnosis and monitoring. Since pioneering the world’s first ICM in 1998, Medtronic has continually advanced the technology—achieving miniaturization, simplified in-office implantation, and eliminating the need for pre-implant ECG mapping. In 2021, Medtronic introduced AccuRhythm AI, a new artificial intelligence solution that significantly reduces false alerts and improves information accuracy. As the first FDA-cleared AI-powered technology from Medtronic, AccuRhythm AI was recognized with the 2023 MedTech Breakthrough Award for Best New Monitoring Solution.
