Farah Rahhal is the Quality Systems Manager at Nevro, specializing in Class III, implantable medical devices. She graduated from San Jose State University (SJSU) with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2018, followed by a Master's degree in the same field in 2021. During her time at SJSU, Farah conducted research on the effects of x-ray sterilization on medical devices and initiated a process for creating and studying blood clots on mechanical heart valves. Farah was actively involved in the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), where she organized this conference in 2018. Joining Nevro in 2018, Farah initially embarked on her career journey in Regulatory Affairs before transitioning to a Quality role in 2022. Throughout her professional career, she has been active in implementing EU regulations, writing PMA submissions, and participating in regulatory audits. Farah looks forward to sharing her insights from her time at SJSU and her experiences in the industry post-graduation."
